Technology for Learning Good Practice

The LSC's Technology for Learning policy has been developed to ensure that the Learning and Skills sector makes innovative and appropriate use of technology to meet the needs of practitioners and all learners.

These pages aim to provide signals and signposts about good practice in the use of ILT in the Learning and Skills sector and they include short extracts from video interviews with principals, their managers with responsibility for ILT and e-learning as well as other leading figures in the field. There are also case studies of good practice and links to other websites that are involved in the promotion and development of good practice.

You will see that some of the links feature Tony Burgess, LSC Senior E-learning Policy Manager, who tragically passed away in January 2008. Tony was a true champion of the use of technology for learning and believed passionately that adopting modern techniques in teaching and learning would enhance the experience for students and practitioners.
