SummaryMany deaf students depend on BSL (British Sign Language) to support their learning, but unlike many subjects, ICT is one with a constantly expanding vocabulary.
The Quality Improvement Agency website's Dictionary of ICT terms is aimed at deaf students, their Communication Support Workers and interpreters, and anyone else interested in learning signs for ICT terms. The dictionary is an outcome of collaboration between deaf professionals and BSL specialists, who researched the growing number of terms used in ICT.
Each term is illustrated by a signed video clip which can also be downloaded and used offline to add a BSL commentary to a PowerPoint presentation, for example
