E-learning example: Digital Media Project

A senior member of the College chairs the Lancashire Learning Partnership (LLP) and the College takes an active role in the development of the use of ICT within teaching and learning.

• enhance learning using ICT;
• enhance the learning environment;
• improve ICT skills of learners and staff:
• embed interactive learning objects into the curriculum;
• provide a multimedia alternative to traditional models and handouts;
• provide learners with flexible 'any where/any time' access to resources;
• provide a flexible resource for both learners and College staff;
• provide a resource bank on the College virtual learning environment (WebCT);
• be accessible throughout the College and remotely from work or home.

• The learning outcomes were in line with the WJEC AS 1st year A level ICT course;
