The Treasury contains websites and resources that are still valuable, but no longer updated. Contact information may be out of date and links may not work. Recent content is available on the Excellence Gateway
The Excellence Gateway is the complete online service for everyone working in the further education and skills sector in England. It provides the practical help you need to improve your everyday work and innovate in teaching and learning. It also enables you to share your professional knowledge and examples of effective practice with other practitioners.
The Excellence Gateway is delivered by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) through active collaboration with learning providers, Government agencies and a range of sector organisations.
Managers and staff from learning providers in every area of the FE and skills sector contribute to the Excellence Gateway Strategy Board, and to advisory and collaborative groups dealing with content and a range of technical and operational matters.
The Excellence Gateway benefits from the insight, experience, advice and guidance of all of the leading sector agencies and organisations. It acts as an important two-way communication channel between Government and the sector, as a publishing platform for relevant output from the organisations, and as a first point of call, signposting key content elsewhere.
Partner organisations represented on the Excellence Gateway Strategy Board currently include:
