Many of your organisation's activities and processes will be focused on meeting learners' needs. One approach which learning providers take in reviewing their effectiveness in meeting the needs of learners is by charting the learner's journey - from first contact to the time when they complete their learning and move on. It touches on frontline services, reception, recruitment, information and advice, admissions, induction, on programme support, tutorial and pastoral support and guidance on future activities. All these stages are important in meeting learners' needs. Doing this successfully depends on listening to learners and involving them in change.
