MyStudyBar is a tool that helps overcome problems that learners commonly experience with studying, reading and writing. It consists of a set of portable open source and freeware applications, assembled into one convenient package. Easy to install, simple to use, handy and effective, MyStudyBar provides comprehensive learning support at the desktop and is free to download and use.
BBC RAW BBC learning material on skills for everyday life, focusing on writing, reading, numbers and financial literacy skills.
National learning network (NLN) Available free to all authorised organisations in the post-16 sector, NLN materials are a substantial and wide-ranging collections of e-learning materials, designed to support a wide range of subject and topic areas, including basic skills.
